*Position : **QA Engineer* *Location : **Charlotte, NC* *Duration : * *10+ month Phone then Skype* *Only GC, EAD GC and USC* Implements the testing strategies and methods for Enterprise applications and data products. This QA resource is going to be initially working on a Microstrategy project with AbInito processing and we will want someone who has experience writing automated tests as well as manual test execution. As time progresses, we will want to transition this resource to other efforts that will require performing quality assurance for java development using Selenium and Cucumber technologies. Role includes planning, designing, executing and tracking the results of associated test efforts. Minimum Requirements: A Bachelor's degree (BS, BA) required. Area of study in IT, Computer science or related discipline. 5-7 years of relevant experience. Minimum of 5 years work experience in IT Applications Development to include: Web/.NET/JAVA technology; Windows/XP/UNIX platforms; QTP/Loadrunner/Quality Center; MicroStrategy/BI environments; Verifying queries, validating input; Writing complex SQL and automation test scripts; ETL processes and testing; HP Suite of Products (QTP/Loadrunner/Quality Center); object oriented programming; Java, JSP; UNIX/Linux, and Windows XP Systems ; J2EE, Spring, Struts, JavaScript, XML, REST/SOAP/JSON, Hibernate and/orIbatis; Server side platforms: Red Hat, Apache Http Server, Tomcat and JBoss; Development tools: ANT, Subversion, Maven, Hudson, Junit/DbUnit/FlexUnit, Hypersonic, Easymock, Eclipse. 2-3 years application development in a Java environment.
