The candidate will develop strong relationships with colleagues and business partners to support the day-to-day operations of SSgA’s business. Within this role, the candidate will be expected to contribute to continuous improvement and proactively support knowledge sharing within the team. *Responsibilities of the role will include. * Gathering business requirements from multiple lines of business, with a focus on Trading and capital markets. Assisting in the ongoing upgrading and maintenance of both internally developed and vended applications. Analyzing and engineering solutions to address business needs while accounting for industry best practices. Creating and maintaining documentation. *Qualifications:* *Candidate must:* Have experience working in a multi-asset class environment and have knowledge across all major asset classes (Equity, Fixed Income, Futures, Derivatives, etc.). Be self motivated and able to excel at working independently. Be well-organized and able to manage projects to a schedule. Be a clear, poised communicator; will communicate frequently with counterparts at brokers, external vendors, internal IT and business organizations. Be detail oriented.
