*Position: Business Analyst With Pharma Exp* *Location: Charlotte, North Carolina* *Duration – 12+ Month Contract* *phone and in-person interview * *Local candidates only!* We have a 10 new roles available in Charlotte, North Carolina as a Business Analyst. Any consultants with Pharma experience will be highly considered. *Introduction/Background*: Under general direction of the Business Analyst Manager, the Business Analysis (BA) is responsible for developing business and functional requirements for Lash’s internal and external technology projects. The BA will utilize PMO processes, tools, and approaches across all of Lash’s product implementation projects. The BA will leverage their experience with industry best practices, as both a guide to career improvement and as a benchmark for measuring BA performance. In addition, the BA will work with IT and Operations leadership to help execute Lash’s product management strategies and plans. *Position Description, **Duties and Responsibilities*: · Create business requirements that answer a client’s “what” needs, that are written in clear, unambiguous language, and that result in testable, measurable, and traceable outcomes · Accountability for completing quality BA deliverables on schedule · Work with the development and testing teams to validate project requirements · Proactively communicate project status, issues and concerns to project managers and direct management. · Utilizes, refines, and enforces standardized BA processes and tools on every internal and external project · Evaluates business and functional requirements that require customizations or enhancements to existing Lash products and systems. · Participates in project estimations · Identifies and assists in the development of training requirements for new BA hires, as well as ongoing BA product certifications · Provides the necessary requirements documentation for the IT and Operations areas to evaluate, prioritize and determine the cost effectiveness of information technology initiatives. · Prepares charts, tables and diagrams to assist in analyzing problems, utilizing various business analysis techniques and tools · Communicates with executives throughout Lash. · The BA position requires direct one-on-one as well as group basis interaction with IT and Operations management and officers. · May participate in process improvement initiatives. · Performs other related duties of a comparable level/type as required. *Minimum Experience and Education Requirements*: Requires some training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences, health care or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four year Bachelor's Degree program, technical vocational training, or equivalent combination of experience and education. Normally requires a minimum 5 years directly related and progressively responsible experience. Experience working with a structured project management and business analysis methodology. *Minimum Skills, Knowledge, and Ability Requirements:* 1. Working knowledge of structured development methodology 2. Good analytical and problem solving skills to evaluate business problems and apply applications knowledge to identify appropriate solutions 3. Demonstrated knowledge of Business Analysis concepts, methodologies and practices 4. Ability to work effectively in a changing environment; willing to shift priorities and focus 5. Ability to deliver goals and objectives despite changing priorities 6. Ability to make good decisions based on analysis, experience and sound judgment; using good judgment in deciding how best to achieve results 7. Ability to write business and functional requirements and specifications 8. Ability to document use case scenarios and process flows 9. Ability to communicate clearly and succinctly to convey messages with the desired effect both orally and in writing 10. Ability to prioritize work load and consistently meet deadlines 11. Good interpersonal skills; effective team player 12. Strong customer service skills 13. Strong organizational skills; attention to detail 14. Strong knowledge of CRM and web-based technologies 15.
