Bay Area, CA 6 months $55/hr Corp-Corp Responsibilities/Activities o Coach team on Agile/Scrum practices. o Mentor team on self-organization. Utilize self-organization to fill gaps in Agile framework. o Remove impediments to team deliverables and product goals. o Assess Scrum Maturity of team and coach team to higher levels of maturity at a sustainable pace. o Facilitate the building of a trusting and cooperative environment. o Facilitate discussion, decision-making, and conflict resolution. o Support and educate Product Owner. o Provide leadership and support to team and lead by example. Skills/Experience o Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I, PSM II) as well as SAFe certification. o Experience playing the Scrum Master role for at least 4 years for a software development team that was diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory. o Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and transparency. o Knowledge of numerous well-documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in Agile. o Experience diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory. o Knowledge of different Agile approaches (XP, Kanban, BDD,FDD, etc.). o Expertise in Agile techniques (User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games).
