*AIX Server (Build) Admin AZ or RI4-6 Months$55/hr Corp-Corp Positions: 2Role AIX Server (Build) Admin – Datacentre Admin work Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills Responsibilities• Building new server's from scratch including VIO server's and VIO clients• Install software, apply patches, manage file systems, monitor performance and troubleshoot alerts from monitoring tools. • System failure analysis and recovery; insuring the consistency and integrity of file systems. • Business continuity planning and implementation• Hardware/software configuration and management • Liaison with vendors/ customer for new hardware / software install , technology upgrades and troubleshooting • Manage and lead hardware and software migration and upgrade efforts of varying size and complexity. Required Technical Skills• 5-6 years of professional systems maintenance experience in a UNIX DataCenter environment.• Virtual I/O server build and configuration• Experienced to work on AIX 6.1 and AIX 7.1• NPIV and VSCSI disk mappings• EMC Power path will be add on• Knowledge of EMC disk system from Server side• Knowledge of ASM disk system • VIO’s up gradation or migration• AIX up gradation or migration• Good Knowledge of LVM• Performance tuning• Knowledge of power HA will be add on.Good knowledge of h/w architecture – physical , logical Understanding of cabling , connections – Fibre , Network etcShould be willing to work in datacentre environment Please respond with Resume, Rate, Current Location and Phone numbers of the Consultant.
