Position: SAP Process Integration Duration: 4-6 months Location: Union City, California
Job Description: This position will be responsible for designing and developing data integration solutions in an existing SAP PI / PO application environment using the SAP B2B add-on. The EDI developer will efficiently and effectively interact with the business analyst, software architect, and business users to translate the business requirements into data interface solutions. The candidate should be well versed in mapping various data sources (not limited to EDI X12, XML, and flat file) to and from SAP IDOCs. The ideal candidate would additionally have a strong technical background in the setup and maintenance of web service calls to and from SAP. A background in wholesale or retail distribution would be preferable. Job Requirements: B.S. in Business or Computer Science or equivalent work experience required. Expert knowledge in a variety of EDI mapping protocols in SAP PI / PO especially standard EDI X12 (850, 855, 856, 810, 860, 870, 846, 832, 940, 945, 997) and XML. Strong experience in Web service calls (including SOAP) At least 5 years of SAP experience. At least 5 years of experience in an SOA environment using SAP PI / PO. Strong planning, organizing, communication and presentation skills. Ability to work proficiently with little daily guidance. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
