Senior Drupal/PHP Engineer/developer to help develop a data.gov like
capability for clinical.
Senior level ability to design and implement solutions in the technology.
Excellent understanding of Agile process especially Test-driven development
concepts and ability to work with business analyst to refine requirements
and acceptance criteria.
Ability to talk to developers and non-technical folks equally.
We are developing a Drupal catalog with a DKAN distribution.
The main part of the development is through Drupal which is used as a
framework. Drupal is initially an open source content management system
that can be extended for more focused needs. That in mind a company called
NuCivic created a DKAN distribution that extends Drupal as a ready to use
solution.
The Drupal / DKAN combination was developed for the US government in
response to Obama's government open-data initiative: officials and offices
can release public information by sharing files and ways to describe the
documents in a generic way using metadata.
We are building a catalog that describes and exposes Clinical research
processes. We see this as a way to facilitate data transparency within the
company and enhance the way research is done. The catalog is currently
focused on Tahoe but eventually will extend to other systems.
