Familiarity with UNIX, and some programming experience: years Role Summary: Someone who is energetic and passionate about their work, extremely positive and solution driven, and is willing to learn • Experience working in a professional environment • Newly graduated or soon to be earning a B.S. degree in computer science, management information systems, or information systems • Some experience in developing using any software language, compiled, interpreted, or otherwise (Java, C/C++, PERL, Python, HTML, .NET, PL/SQL, JavaScript, Shell) • Good understanding of relational database modeling concepts • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing business priorities • Familiarity with UNIX, and some programming experience required Role Description: • The position is primarily focused on working with Sr. Java Developers and Lead Architect for J2EE development work for multiple systems across the company. • This individual will interact with business analysts, developers and database administrators to create clean, well-written software code and document it accordingly. • This position will also entail performing system analysis tasks for team members and stakeholders. • Specific responsibilities will include but, not be limited to analysis of existing Java software code, documenting existing code, creating new application software code based on requirements, working with multiple teams on multiple projects and working with various web-based and database-driven applications to help solve business problems.
