* Project work will include the following:*
- Update legacy J2EE applications to utilize newer versions of the JEE6
stack and leverage standard design patterns as implemented within the HJIP
application portfolio. Work may include:
- Rewriting portions of application persistence (EJB 2 entity beans
to JPA)
- Modernizing user interface code (JSF 1.X to JSF2/Primefaces/CDI)
- Transitioning business layer components from EJB2 to EJB3 session
beans
- Enhance an existing JEE document management application to include an
administrative console for merging case records/documents and correcting
case metadata.
- Assist with the design and development of a new JEE application for
managing lookup/configuration tables that are used by applications across
the HJIP portfolio.
- Enhance an existing java application for correcting electronic
citation errors in XML format for resubmission to downstream agencies.

- Daily time reporting and estimations
*Candidate **must** have:*
- Expert level experience in EJB3, JPA, JDBC / SQL, Web Services, SOAP,
WSDL, XML, XSD, JSF2, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, JMS, JUNIT
- Ability to work independently
- Experience in an Agile scrum environment
