*Role:* Business Objects Administrator *Location:* Troy, MI *Duration:* 7 Months contract *Job Description:* *Responsibilities:* Security management with Enterprise and AD Authentication Troubleshoot, configure, and tune Business Objects servers for optimal performance Support server installation and upgrades Monitor and cleanup repository Promote objects between environments Troubleshoot end user issues Manage report scheduling and distribution Create and maintain trouble tickets with SAP Deploy Business Objects Universe and Report updates to production Maintain front-end security of reports Install software as required *Desired Skills Experience:* 3+ years of experience in Business Objects Administration 2+ years of experience with APOS software Collaborating and contributing with large teams Ability to adapt to new situations, changing priorities and new applications Ability to grow knowledge on a topic with minimal direction given Strong analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills Ability to work in highly diversified teams with strong interpersonal skills Ability to anticipate and communicate potential problems while determining solutions Understanding of SAP Business Objects and Data Services architecture. Experience deploying SAP Business Objects in a standalone and clustered environment. Provide reusable documentation including environment specific configurations and best practice such as timeout settings, configuring shared network directories, log file maintenance etc. Experience working in a DW environment.
