Work experience requirements
- Minimum 12 years in software development industry and 15 years of IT
experience in the following areas:
- Web Services and Service Oriented Architectures (Including
Microservices)
- Web Applications and Enterprise Applications
- Strong object orientation and design skills, both at the code and
architectural level
- Extensive understanding of database design and SQL
- Experience analyzing and gathering requirements for high-level
solution design (includes Enterprise Architecture, Application
Architecture, Data Architecture, Integration Architecture, Infrastructure
Architecture, and Security Architecture), for enterprise environments.
- Experience with message bus technologies such as RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ;
- Experience using Java EE, Struts, Spring, Hibernate, Ant, Maven,
Eclipse, or other similar tools and libraries
- Experience with one or more of the following:
- Python
- C/C++
- JavaScript, CSS, and HTML 5
- IIS, Apache (Tomcat), JBoss, Glassfish, Node.js etc.
- Solid understanding of algorithm complexity, parallel/distributed
systems, advanced data structures, computer networking and operating systems
- Experience with REST/SOAP/JSON API
- Experience with Rest Server and Web programming using XML/HTML
- Must be intimately familiar with the process and all the roles on an
Lean / Agile team
- Should have played multiple roles within the process in the past
- Must have used Lean, Agile or combination on multiple projects
- Must have experience using online Agile management tools such as
Rally, VersionOne, Jira, OnTime, or similar
- Minimum 5 years in leadership or architectural positions
- Has been responsible for team performance
- Has developed architectural solutions and managed the
implementation of solutions
- Has had direct reports or been a technical lead
- Has managed other roles besides developers (QA and BA for example)
- Has proactively collaborated with stakeholders outside of the team
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent analytical skills and discernment. High ability to
problem-solve.
- Initiative and ‘Can Do’ Attitude Required. Self-motivated.
- Has worked with cross-functional teams. Able to function in a
dynamic environment.
- Minimum 5 years using Test Driven Development or Behavioral Driven
Development along with Continuous Integration
- Unit testing with MSTest, NUnit, MBUnit, JUnit
- BDD/Spec by Example with SpecFlow, Cucumber or similar
- Used continuous integration using TFS, Team City or Jenkins
- Used code quality and coverage metrics using Team City, TFS, Sonar,
PMD, or similar
- This experience must be across multiple projects
- Experience with other automation paradigms such as functional
and/or load testing is a plus
- 2 years of experience with Scala
- 2 years of experience Experience with Elastic Search

- Is highly productive and performs well under pressure
