mungkin saya akan sedikit memberikan penjelasan mengenai colocation :
colocation server adalah service yang di berikan oleh provider (ISP),
umumnya isp yang memiliki BW internet lebar dan speed yang bagus,
dimana client dapat menumpangkan web/mail servernya di ISP, ini
dilakukan apabila disisi client memiliki kendala dalam speed dan BW
yang dimiliki. penempatan server di ISP ini akan lebih bermanfaat
apabila web/mail server tersebut memiliki counter tracking yang sangat
tinggi sekali, dimana di butuhkan kecepatan/speed yang baik. dilain
sisi juga bermanfaat dalam security karena tidak connect ke jaringan
yang kita miliki sendiri. umumnya untuk colocation ini beberapa isp
memberikan fasilitas backup/ restore.
