Good Heaven, swap dan / ada dibawa RAID 5 juga ;-D
Bisa enggak, untuk /boot, /, /usr dan swap dibuat Logical Drive dengan
RAID 1 saja?
Kemudian yg lain lain baru dibawah RAID 5? Saya baca manual ACU
nampaknya bisa begitu ah

Di halaman 24-26 memang disebutkan kemampuan untuk melakukan melakukan
expand array.
Extend logical drive
This option increases the storage capacity of a logical drive by adding
unused space on an array to a logical drive on the same array. The
unused space is obtained either by expanding an array ("Expand Array" on
page 24) or by deleting another logical drive ("Delete logical drives"
on page 24) on the same array.
Not all operating systems support online logical drive extension through
ACU. Some operating systems allow you to perform logical drive extension
offline by backing up data, reconfiguring the array, and restoring data
from backup. Check the operating system documentation for current
information.
Migrate a logical drive
This option enables you to alter the stripe size (data block size), RAID
level, or both for a selected logical drive. For some combinations of
initial and final settings of stripe size and RAID level, the array must
contain unused drive space.
Wah memang hebat Smart Array milik HP ini, saya rasa ini karena
controllernya sendiri punya embedded OS yang smart dan adanya layer
tambahan Logical Drive.
Melihat dari manual tersebut, anda memang bisa menambah kapasitas dengan
mudah, tanpa kudu harus scratch hardware array confignya, dan tanpa
menggunakan Linux LVM, tapi tetap saja anda kudu roll back dari ext3 FS
ke etx2 FS, sementara saja.
