JOB DESCRIPTIONS AS400 System Administrator Bachelor Degree in Computer science or equivalent qualification / University Degree With 3-5 years relevant hands on experience in AS400 Administration with Mid-level position. User Account Administration Knowledge in the following : V5R3 or V2R2 Operating System - Mandatory SAN (Storage Area Network) - Desirable Backup and Recovery using BRMS and SAV - Mandatory I5 TCP/IP concept & definition I5(Power 5) Hardware architecture Mandatory (knowledge) Experience with some of the following products would be desirable: MPlus - Desirable or Any other system monitoring tool MIMIX replication Mandatory Preferable to have knowledge of Core Banking Application i.e. ICBS of FISERV BMC Patrol or Use of Any other performance monitoring experience tools Participating in day-to-day operations Monitoring the Performance and resolving Performance issues Mandatory Skills Hard Skills Skill Level AS400 Administration & tuning V5R3 Operating System SAN (Storage Area Network)/ Backup and Recovery using BRMS/JD Edwards JOB RESPONSIBILITY Responsibility for the provision of day to day support and administration of a production mission critical infrastructure environment. Working with Development team to resolve system issues related . -Support project in related with the Core Banking Application. Printer definition and support Experienced in systems server infrastructure planning, testing, deployment, operations, and maintenance Ability to work independently, as well as part of a global support team with minimal supervision. Have an analytical mind which can apply trouble shooting skills systemically and methodologically to identify root cause and resolve problems.
