Responsibilities : Participate in software implementation and system integration projects in co-operation with developers, architects, and testers, as well as carry out formal testing procedures Assist is conducting thorough testing and experimentation to ensure that the system works in test environments as it should Assist in testing carrier-grade software products and finding the issues that need to be solved in the systems Assist in migrating and rolling out system to production environment Assist in test system building, test planning, learning skills of using testing tools, and executing tests. Testing includes functional testing related to mobile data service technologies such as SMS, MMS, WAP, WAP Push, Wireless HTTP, as well as the related TCP/IP-based technologies such as HTTP, DNS, and LDAP. Technical Capabilities : Some experience of developing and testing telecommunications systems acquired through work or during studies Programming experience in shell scripting; Java skills Experience in working with mobile messaging technologies (SMS, MMS, WAP, WAP Push)Knowledgeable in mobile communication technologies and application development, e.g. SMS, WAP, MMS, SS7. Administration skills of UNIX (preferably HP-UX or Sun) operating systems Knowledge of TCP/IP networking (routers and load balancers) and databases (preferably Oracle) Senior Technical Consultant Mobility (STC M) General Requirements : S1 degree in Computer Science/Telecommunication, GPA Min 3.00 Minimum experience 8 years in IT and/or Telecommunication industry Good command in English (spoken and written) Responsibilities : Frequently represents the organization to external customers/clients Leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives May provide mentoring and guidance to lower level employees Works on complex problems/projects where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to complex business issues Acts as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies Frequently contributes to the development of new ideas and methods Exercises significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives Technical Capabilities : Is regarded as a subject matter expert in Mobility solutions Extensive knowledge in mobile communication technologies and application development, e.g. SMS, WAP, MMS, SS7.
