untuk melihat sekedar koneksi antar komputer didalam jaringan cukup dengan "ping", kalau "ping" ke komputer lain bisa berarti koneksi udah lancar.
tapi kalau belum bisa akses dari win NT ke XP, itu masalah security, memang biasanya untuk akses dari OS yang versinya lebih rendah dari XP memang agak repot. hal itu disebabkan karena versi LAN Manager (Client For Microsoft Network) yang digunakan oleh XP lebih tinggi dari LAN Manager yang digunakan Win NT. Solusinya : coba perhatikan seting security / firewall ala win XP coba ijinkan semua akses atau di off saja firewallnya. coba cari tahu tentang "Accept olds version of lan manager /downgrade interconnection" coba cari service pack terakhir untuk Win NT, pelajari masalah interkoneksi domain ala active directory win 2000/2003.
