MDaemon itu software untuk mail server, jadi gunanya sebagai e-mail server di dalam jaringan yang memberikan fasilitas SMTP,POP3 dan IMAP. Selaen itu terdapat utilites yang dapat digunakan dalam MDaemon itu, seperti Antiivirus dan Antispam.
