Hi Harry, ya jelas beda, hasil dari parser to_char adalah string (varchar). di string data type, '06/11/2007' tidak sama dengan '6/11/2007'.
coba kalau pembandingnya anda gunakan datetime, misal select.........where date_time between TIMESTAMP'2007-10-01 00:00:00' and TIMESTAMP'2007-11-06 00:00:00' (atau TIMESTAMP'2007-11-6 00:00:00') pasti akan memberikan hasil yang sama. atau bisa gunakan TO_DATE(). silahkan googling untuk sample querynya.
