Suspend atau hibernate bisa mengurangi konsumsi daya tanpa situ perlu nengok nengok setiap client lagi aktif atau tidak 2. Software aplikasi yang bagus mestinya bisa auto-recovery kalo ada shutdown Tapi ya terserah anda sih.
