As I cam tell, when photoshop creates a jpeg image it will invert all the bits in the image. So iText must have a mechanism to handle jpeg image created by Photoshop.
The decoding should be inverted if iText detects that the JPEG APP14 marker starts with "Adobe" according to Adobe TN5116. This will solve the Image problem forever.
