That's a RIP problem. Postscript supports native true-type fonts for a long
time. iText will not do the conversion from true-type to type1.

Subject: [iText-questions] truetyp-fonts

hallo,

i produced pdf-files with truetype-fonts. i embedded all fonts. but
when i try to print this pdf-files on different rips, i get the postcript
error
<definefont>. when i try to make a pdf with the adobe distiller and
truetyp-fonts
the truetyp-fonts always converted to adobe-typ 1 fonts, and with this pdf i
have
no trouble to print. Question: is there any way with itext to do the same
with the
truetype-fonts?

thanks
