Just for completeness here is how I am trying to create the Fonts:

                        chapterFont = FontFactory.getFont("Helvetica",
24.0f, Font.BOLD, new Color(255,0,0));
                        sectionFont = FontFactory.getFont("Helvetica",
20.0f, Font.BOLDITALIC, new Color(0, 0, 255));
                        subsectionFont =
FontFactory.getFont("Helvetica", 18.0f, Font.ITALIC, new Color(0, 64,
64));
                        mainFont = FontFactory.getFont("Helvetica",
10.0f, Font.NORMAL, Color.black);

Since I am in an applet environment I am not using
FontFactory.register(). Is this a huge problem?
