I have a window bat-file in directory www/examples (if you are using the ANT build.xml, you have the same directory somewhere too). When I do 'compile Chap0101', I get a file Chap0101.pdf that looks just fine. I use this to test each release. If it works for me and it doesn't for someone else I can't help any further.
