Hi,
I face a peculiar problem. The HTML is getting converted to PDF properly and
displayed correctly too in my environment. But at the clients place, the
alignment of the PDF is not proper.I checked with the acrobat version and
the iText version being used and they all match. The problem is that when the
contents of the cell is big, the contentts get wrapped but spill over to the
next cell.

What cud be the problem.Have anyone faced anything like this before.

Pls help.

Awaiting the response eagerly as the code is already moved to prod and we
find all these error.

Thanks,
Sathish

The API says "A Cell is a Rectangle containing other
Elements." So chances are that you can add these
things to a Cell. If you want to be 100% certain,
it's easy to write a simple test program, or you can
look in the source code of this open-source project,
and see that the Cell class does support adding
multiple Phrases and Paragraphs, among other Elements.

One possibility which people often overlook, is that
you can subclass Paragraph to do whatever you like.
Implementation might be slightly more complex but it
remains a way of getting your desired functionality.

On a desktop or server? Do you want a pre-existing tool or
want to write your own? If the latter, what OS platform(s) and
language?

No, iText doesn't deal with the content of a PDF.

I hate to do all that work and not let others get to use it too. Also, I
have a feeling that I will have to go into the Paragraph code or even the
Phrase code to make this work.

thanks - dave
