[iText-questions] Doubt about PdfPTable

hi,     is it not possible to have the table split to a seperate page when using the PdfPTable class ? the table that i generate using PdfPTable seems to end at the end of the page. i am using writeSelectedRows( ) method to display the table. if i use document.add( ) method, the table is splitting but i am not getting the positioning that is desired.  hoping for a quick reply from you.   thanking you in advance.   yours, dc.
