Hi All,

I want to convert PDF file to GIF/JPEG images using a batch process. Can
you please let me know if it is possible using iText?

If you are looking for a java based solution you can use the java acrobat version from adobe. The example program that comes with jpedal (another java based solution) unfortunatly did not work for me. The generated JPEGs all have been white with black lines at the right and lower border. The maintainers of jpedal claim this is because of wrong usage of the library but only offers payed assistance. I didnt have the time to look into it unfortunatly.

Paulo, Carl Rosenberg posted a short example how to use the java acrobat for rendering of pdf to images in java in a german java newsgroup some time ago. Would you like to add it to your itext examples? It could be useful if used together with itext.

Best regards,
Carsten Hammer
