(I apologize if this makes it to the lsit 2x. I sent
it with the wrong email address the first time).

I am having an issue with the PdfStamper class, where
I am getting a message from Acrobat (both Reader 4.0
and full version 4.0) when I open the resulting file.

I am using itext version .98, and I also tried the
latest from Paulo's site
(http://www.geocities.com/itextpdf/) (build 114) and
get the same thing.

I am using the pdf file: Chap0101.pdf (a simple case:
Hello World) from the examples.

I then use Paulo's field_merge.java sample from his
site on this file to produce an output file (I do not
pass in any name/value pairs - or flatten). When I
open the file I get the message "File is damaged but
is being repaired".

I can send you the 2 pdf files (before and after) plus
the file after being repaired by Acrobat if you like.

When comparing the pdf files, I notice that the
PdfStamper generated file does not have an /ID element
in the trailer, while the original and the 'repaired'
file does. I don't know if this is relavent.

Thanks,

Rich
