There are some very persistent viruses around. As administrator, we are able to discard the ones sent from non-members of the mailinglist, but if the virus uses a mail-address from a subscriber, we can't do anything about it. I even received viruses from Paulo's address (but sent through a different mailserver, so I immediately know he is not the real sender). Also I get more and more replies from mailservers protected by virusscanners saying they received a virus from one of my mail-addresses.
