I want to 'stamp' some text on top of an existing PDF file, using a specific font. I have done this before using iText and an external TrueType font file: BaseFont.createFont(fontPath, "winansi", BaseFont.EMBEDDED);
However, is it possible to have the font used for the 'stamping' already completely embedded in the PDF, removing the need for the TrueType font at the time of 'stamping' the additional text with iText? In theory I think it should be possible if the font is already embedded, but I can't find any mention of this in the mailing lists or tutorial. Perhaps this is a licensing issue? iText has proved excellent in the work I have done so far with modifying PDF files. Thanks for the help. Joel. __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
