I am under project constraints not to go to JDK 1.4 right now, so I am bound to 1.3. Will the HTMLParser work with 1.3 and the xerces.jar?
I tried the Chap 6 and Chap 7 tutorial code and still get some errors, eg,
error = no protocol: Chap0702.html. I must be missing something here still.

You no longer need Xerces if you have the JDK1.4.
