Hi I have a problem working with tables and cells in my pdf documents. I have a row where the first cell has a text with a bigger size and the others have text with smaller size. So the other cells become having the height of the first (it seems that every cell in the same row has the same height, the height of the highest one, am I right?). I want to have the texts in this row close to the texts in the previous row. So if I set a height for the row equal to the first cell then I have too much space between the two rows. If I set for the row just the height of the samller cells then the first cell's text is not shown. Note: I need the second row to be bottom-aligned, so the solution can't be aligning to the top.
I create the cells with PdfPCell cell = new PdfPCell(new Phrase(myText, myFont)); celda.setHorizontalAlignment(ha); celda.setVerticalAlignment(va); What could be the solution? I wonder if exists another way to create cells that may print its text out of its bounds when it doesn't fit. Exists?
