[iText-questions] Star Office PDF & iText

Hi All,   I’m considering using Star Office as my PDF creator and then using iText to merge data into specific parts of the PDF documents.   I have tried creating many different fields from within star office, exporting as PDF then tried to read the fields using iText but no fields are retrieved.  Does iText support any field types other than Acrofields?   Has anyone has created a PDF document in Star/Open Office and then merge fields using iText?  If so can any one point me in the right direction?   Thank you   Steven Dalton IT Officer Trammel Tooling
