setForceWidthsOutput only matters for the built-in fonts. All the others already have to produce the widths array. For this particular case with an Identity-H encoding it can only be done with the new version at itextpdf.sf.net. See BaseFont.setCharAdvance().
Leonard is right that the name should be changed. It will work correctly as a single document but it's bound to break if the fonts are merged with other docs. I'll have a method to change the font name in the next release.

NO!!!!!
Do NOT do this, all hell will break loose - or at least you
will NOT get the results you expect....
If you want custom widths, then create your own font with
your own name and embed that data. Do NOT try to "hack" existing
fonts - standard or otherwise.
