Hi Bruno,
I'm considering using iText in a project for my company, and I'd just like to confirm that my intentions are above board (I don't know much about the licensing world). Basically, this project is GPL'd - I'm aware of your concerns about this, but unfortunately I have no choice about the matter. However, my question is whether this would prohibit the inclusion of iText (or any other LGPLd software) within the project? I won't be making any changes to your source, or even including it in the distribution.
Every work derived from your project will have to be GPL too.
But this doesn't mean you can't use LGPL (or even MPL) libraries such as iText.
br,
Bruno
