I am using the iText library and am consistently bothered by two problems. 1. I am unable to create a BaseFont for a Type 1 font. I am getting the exception: Missing StartCharMetrics in BaseFont Helvetica.
2. I am unable to clip the text to stay inside a rectangle. I get one of the following errors when I open the resulting PDF a) The document contains too much color information. b) Invalid operand. c) Illegal operation inside a path.
