I'm been looking to help the users of the PDF forms I'm creating by some how having prompts contained within the form which the user can read on the screen but when the form is printed will not show up. Another option would be to colour the form with a coloured box located behind the form field which would not be printed. Is this a possibility within a PDF document or am I pushing the limits of acrobat?
Are your users working with Acrobat 5 or 6?
If 5, then you should be looking at non-printing annotations. If 6, look at Layers/Optional Content Groups.
