Hello 2 everyone,

I want to use iText to generate a layouted pdf with any layout-scheme.
Now I have the following problem:

I want to position the text in an absolute way, such as :
Add text with font XY at position A, B (where A and B are centimeter or inch-values).
But to do this I need the current height and width of a special text.
I tried to get this out using the FontMetrics-class of JAVA, but got there
pixel-values.

Now the questions:
1. How can I convert this pixel-values into centimeter or inch or
is there any other way getting out the actual size of an font.

2. Is there any way to position HTML-Text absolutely? Or do I have to write
   my on wrapper using CSS?

Greetings
MaO
