I am attaching a PDF demonstrating the problem and the sample web application I used to generate it (look at itest.jsp in the war file for the source). The code in the constructor for PdfCell that seems to be handling vertical alignment does not appear to take the actual size of the text or the width of the border into account. Am I missing something here, or is this just an area that needs some improvement?
