The version specified for the old PDF is as follows : iText by lowagie.com -release 0.70 -build 82. Also the vesion for the new PDF is as follows : iText1.1 by lowagie.com(based on itext-paulo-142). You can check this in you Acrobat Reader: File -> Document Properties -> PDF Producer (or something like that). I think it will be a very old version. I'm in a meeting in a few minutes.
