Hello, I'm facing a similar problem to that of Bruno: I have to print name, department and other data on some ID card. The card are already printed, so I just have to accurately position the fields.
I've no deep knowledge of java or iText, but looking around this seemed a good solution. Can you point me to some more explanatory text on this topic? Or even better can you tell me something more about the tool you use, I can access the data by xml or jdbc, but I'd like to know better how to place the contents exactly where I want. I'm trying right now to place a paragraph where I want, but I can undestand that there are better ways... but what is a acroform? Even just some snippets of code would be of great use... Having the output in a pdf format would also be nice to help sending the file to different places, to be printed over there Thank you for your attention Stefano ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: IntelliVIEW -- Interactive Reporting Tool for open source databases.
