I am writing some Jpeg images on to a LEGAL sized

very poor in the generated pdf.

The binary code of a jpeg is copied literally into the PDF,
so no data (no quality) gets lost.

When i see the image
it shows up fine but in the pdf a lot of glazing
effect is coming. How do i enhance the image quality
in the pdf.

What do you exactly mean?
Does the image show up fine in an image viewer, but not in the PDF
on screen? Then you should change the dpi or scale the image.
Does the image show up fine in the PDF on screen, but not on paper?
Then it's a printerdriver problem.
