Greetings.
I am using iText successfully now to create PDF and
everything is working fine. I have a new requirement
to be able to create a PDF based on some database
queries that could contain both western European and
CJK characters, but is not guaranteed which it will
be.
Based on testing, it looks like I'm going to have to
test the values of the data returned in the query and
determine if it's in a western European range or not.
If it is, use a standard font and if it is not use one
of the CJK fonts when adding the text to the document.
Is that essentially correct or am I missing something
in the CJK handling?
Thanks
- Frank
