I suspect that the FAQ needs to be updated. You must only give credit and a link to the iText site if you distribute the source or the binary of your program to a client. If the client is just the end user of a web site using iText you don't need to mention iText anywhere in the site (although an acknowledgment is always nice). Correct me Bruno if it's no so.
