Thanks Paulo, that did the trick! One other related question I had was how to shrink the pdf sizes... Are there some common ways to compress the input or output pdf files, either with tools or iText? I'm concatenating files fine now, and successfully generating 2400 pages/68MB pdf output files, but am hitting RAM limits.
