Hello,

Actually i need to do something differently from what we are doing and i have choosen itext for it would u please let me know if it can be done and how.

We have one PDF which is created on a user request i.e on click of a button it opens up a popup with the PDF as output and it is created using XSL:FO and java processing writting in back end .

Now the functionality is same but the method i need to change i.e as XSL is slow i need to use XML and itext to create the PDF. is it possible using itext?.

Q. Why i chosen itext?
A. I already have written a procedure to concatenate Several pdf and create one using itext.

My cover sheet for that pdf was being created using XSL:fo and its extremely slow and gives IO bottleneck.

So the alternate method which i thought of is this one .

Please let me know if i can do it using itext

Regards

Vijay Shah
