OK I have tried it another way without certifying. I made 4 pdfs which contain 
an empty signature field having their properties i.e. Form Field property set 
to:

1) Visible
2) Not visible on print
3) Hidden
4) Hidden but Visible on print
 
After signing with iText for all of the above, the form field properties were 
reset to Visible where as the property of the signature field should remain 
what it was early. Why is it resetting the property. May be resetting this is 
failing the certified signature.
