Hello,

I'm using your java itext library in an application and using the xml to pdf/rtf functionality. In doing so i was trying to use the header and footer features for these formats and discovered that, atleast for rtf, the XmlWriter does not appear to output any of the header or footer information that is defined using regular java objects from the itext package. I emailed you once before with another question concerning itext and you mentiond you were writting some new xml functionality - would this by any chance included in this work or is there any information you could offer which may help?

I have reschedualed because of the iText book.
The book will have several examples that are self contained
and that read their data from XML, but I don't know if it's
a good idea to integrate this into the library.
Basically, the idea of the examples is that you should write
your own DocumentHandler based on your own XML schema.
I hope the book will demonstrate, writing a DocumentHandler
is much simpler than writing XSL:FO.

Bruno
