I only know of a project that 'makes your PDF green' using PdfBox.
It reads the PDF and checks for the existance of some PDF elements.
PdfReader could test for that kind of elements too, but I don't know
of any existing unit-test that do this.
You should go to the htmlparser project at SF and ask there.
