You create a com.lowagie.text.rtf.RtfHeaderFooters class and use the methods 
provided (check the Javadoc documentation) to set different HeaderFooter or 
com.lowagie.text.rtf.RtfHeaderFooter for first, left or right pages. Then you 
set the RtfHeaderFooters object as the header/footer of the Document.

The Spring version already contains the RtfWriter2, but newer versions contain 
certain bugfixes.
