Type3 fonts are always embedded. In fact Type3 fonts are no fonts at all.
They are XObjects addressed by name that when mapped to the right characters
look like a font.

Subject: [iText-questions] Type 3 fonts

Hi,

Is there a way to identify if there are any non embedded fonts of type 3. I
could identify type 1 and true type fonts whether they are embedded or not.

Any input is appreciated.

Thanks
